00. Context
A leading Colombia insurance company insurance company aims to spin off its core business to accelerate its digital offerings. In doing so, they seek to redefine the tools and processes used to reach, understand, and serve their customers more effectively.
Given the scope, we aligned with the customer to start with a single product: motorcycle insurance. Why motorcycles? Colombia is one of the largest motorcycle-owning countries in the world, making it an ideal starting point for transformation.
01. Project objective
Redefine the capabilities, technology, and processes to create a new digital motorcycle insurance experience, setting a foundation for broader transformation.
02. Approach
Our approach to this project was both strategic and human-centered, ensuring alignment between business goals and consumer needs. We began by engaging with key stakeholders, from executives (5 executives) to operational teams ( 12 teams) , to deeply understand the company’s challenges and objectives. This initial phase helped us confirm executive commitment and set a clear direction. At the same time, we conducted thorough research with consumers, uncovering critical insights that informed our strategy and helped identify growth opportunities.
With these insights in hand, we facilitated collaborative workshops where business leaders and teams co-created innovative solutions. This iterative process ensured that feedback from both internal stakeholders and end users shaped the final outcomes. The result was a series of actionable, customer-centric solutions designed to accelerate the company’s digital transformation and deliver meaningful impact in the marketplace.
03. Results
We created several deliverables, all of which where constantly revised with the customer.
Transformation recommendations: 3 pillars that would enable the companies efforts to be a digital scalable business, they would be the guiding principles to any effort.
Digital Moto Insurance Vision Journey: A future state service journey that covered both the customer interactions and the insurance processes, both enabled by the ideal digital solutions.
Future Vision: A scalable business framework thats enabled by the foundation we build together.
